Dispute Resolution

Our mediation agreements can be turned into parenting plans, consent orders or binding contracts as required.

Why choose

Insight Mediation?

How we can help

Insight Mediation helps parents in conflict make decisions about their children’s needs.

With an experienced and impartial mediator that promotes a safe and supportive environment, your family will be better placed to reach agreements without having to go to court.

Our mediators are:

  • Registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners (FDRP)

  • Highly experienced at working with parents to resolve disputes

  • Well networked with specialist lawyers, counsellors and psychologists.

Types of agreements

Examples of topics that can be discussed in mediation include:

  • Living arrangements for children

  • Holiday arrangements, birthdays and other special days

  • Children's education and healthcare

  • Decision-making and effective communication between parents

  • Property and financial matters

Your legal obligations

People who wish to go to court to resolve child-related disputes are generally required to attend FDR first – and to make a genuine effort to resolve their disputes (some exceptions apply).
